Kathmandu is the political and cultural center of Nepal, and the country's largest city. One of the indigenous communities here are the Newar, or Newari - and that's the name of the snack bar we're visiting is this time around.

It serves bara, patties made with lentil flour. Bara are served with a wide variety of accompaniments and in three different variations: the simplest costs about 15 cents, but they can also be filled with egg or spicy ground meat.
