The world's largest Wi-Fi-in-motion network

The Portuguese city of Porto is home to the world's largest Wi-Fi-in-motion network. Available on all public buses, the network provides commuters with free Wi-Fi and collects environmental data from sensors around the city. The European Union-funded project is intended to offload data from expensive mobile networks. And it could represent the future of smart cities.
