Social Entrepreneur: Norbert Kunz

As a social entrepreneur, Norbert Kunz has a diverse clientele: from a welfare recipient who wants to start his own business to a group of young people who want to learn how to become self-employed.

All of his clients share the same basic problems: they have no capital, no security and very little chance to get a loan from a bank. But all they need when they go to Norbert Kunz is a good idea and the desire to succeed. He was honored as the Schwab Foundation's social entrepreneur of the year in 2010.
